A doctor and a lawyer were at a party when the doctor was approached by one of his patients who asked about a health problem.

The doctor muttered some advice and said to the lawyer "I hate it when that happens at parties, it's like you're never off-duty. How do you handle it?"

The lawyer said "I send them a bill for the consultancy. That usually stops it." The next day the doctor sends off a bill to his patient for £50 and received one for £100 from the lawyer!
